This hotel was ideal for our stay. It was clean, comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room sizes as standard as like most other hotels. It is within a very short walk to the train station which will take you into central Lucerne. A journey which lasts approximately 5 minutes and as a guest of the hotel, it is free to use. We never once used our car during our stay here as there was no need to. Right next door to the hotel there are both a steak and Mexican restaurant. Also within a few minutes walk there is a small shop where you can buy some essential bits and pieces. Right next to the hotel there is also a hairdressers salon and a bike shop. If we decide to return to Lucerne we would choose this hotel again.

The location - it’s just a few minutes walk from the nearest transit station with trains going at regular intervals making it easy and quick to reach Lucerne central. There’s also a bus stop nearby with direct connections to important places like Mount Pilatus cable car etc. One lady at the reception was also very good and helpful. Rooms with views have an amazing view of the mountains. Otherwise it’s a hotel covering basic necessities.

The staff is amazing. Anthony, is an amazing host, we reached late because of flight delay and he made sure we were comfortable, the room is spacious and has all essential amenities like kettle, dryer, shower is nice, bathroom has basic toiletries. Since august is an expensive month for tourists this was the best bet, the only downside is that its a 4 minute train from main station lucern, otherwise very quiet town, best to relax and plan trips from here.

Location, kind staff, breakfast, tea/coffee making facilities, spacious room, comfortable bed, good night sleep, parking space. I have stayed at Ibis Zurich, Bern, and Lucerne. I would rate Ibis Lucerne is the best.

The view from our bedroom window was an absolute dream! The room was simple but a good size particularly compared to other options I have seen. The room was clean and well appointed. Although out of the main centre of Luzern the train was a simple 3 minute walk and was free to use as a hotel guest to get to and from the centre which was fabulous

Public transport OK, size of the room was good, good staff, some places to eat around, supermarket gas station, not close to the city centre but good location overall.

Had a nice stay during a long weekend. Room was spacious enough to accommodate an extra bed. Breakfast had a good variety of options. The staff was nice and welcoming. There is an underground parking with a limited number of spots that is charged per night at the reception. You get free public transportation in Luzern via a code provided at the check-in.

Mattehof Station is only 2 stops from Lucerne Station and the hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Mattenhof Station Room size is big for 3 persons with space to open all 3 luggage If the guest completes online check-in, the hotel allows early checkin once the room is ready without extra charges.

The Mt Pilatus view from our window was magnificient. The room was clean and the staff was helpful.
